ภูเขาพระมหาโพธิสัตว์กวนอิน

A hillside shrine to Guanyin, the Chinese goddess of mercy, set above Krabi with a large white statue and long stair climbs between prayer halls and viewpoints. It's a Mahayana Buddhist site reflecting the province's Thai-Chinese community, quieter and less visited than the big temples, with good views over the surrounding country from the upper terraces. Come for the climb, the statue and the calm. Free to visit; dress respectfully and mind the steps in the heat.
