Pai Plong Beach

A small, quiet cove around the headland from Ao Nang, reached in five minutes along the cliffside Monkey Trail or through the resort that backs it. Because there's no road in, it stays calm — soft sand, clear shallow water, and a fraction of the Ao Nang crowd. There's a beach club if you want a lounger and a drink, or just lay out a towel. Good for families wanting easy swimming away from the boat traffic. Free, public, but you walk the trail to get there.
