Pi Leh is the lagoon that makes people gasp — an inlet on Phi Phi Leh ringed by vertical cliffs, the water an unreal turquoise. It's a swimming and snorkelling stop on nearly every Phi Phi day trip, and for good reason. Go early or late; midday it fills with boats and the magic thins out. There's nowhere to land, so you swim or snorkel straight off the boat. Pair it with nearby Maya Bay and the Viking Cave. Reached only by tour from Krabi or Ao Nang.
