Poda Island sits a few kilometres off Ao Nang and it's the picture everyone has in their head: powder-white sand, water you can see your feet through, and a lone karst tower rising out of the sea just offshore. It's the anchor stop on the 4-islands tour, with good snorkelling straight off the beach and a lunch break under the trees. Get there early on a longtail before the speedboats arrive and it's close to perfect. No accommodation — it's a day-trip island only.
