Khao Ngon Nak Nature Trail
Krabi's most rewarding hike, also known as Dragon Crest Mountain. The trail rises 480m over 3.8 km through national park rainforest to a summit ridge with 360-degree views: Andaman Sea, limestone karsts, offshore islands and the inland mountains. The climb is steep and humid — ropes assist on the harder sections near the top. Allow 4–5 hours return, start before 9am to beat the heat, and bring at least 2 litres of water per person. Entry ฿200 for foreigners (฿40 for Thais); last entry 2pm. Trail closed during high fire-risk periods. A rest-stop viewpoint at mid-trail is a worthwhile pause with good views before the final push.
